WATCH: CM Punk's WWE in-ring return match vs Dominik Mysterio at Madison Square Garden: Full Match

CM Punk made his iconic WWE comeback at Survivor Series: War Games 2023 in Chicago. This was followed by a couple of promo appearances on RAW, SmackDown and even on NXT.
But he later signed a brand exclusive contract with Adam Pearce and Monday Night Raw. Also declared himself for the Royal Rumble 2024 in the process and revealed his dream of headlining WrestleMania.
While rumors suggest a feud with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is on the cards to headline night 1 of WrestleMania 40, there’s still a long way to go for the Showcase of the Immortals.
WWE announced that CM Punk will be facing Dominik Mysterio at a live event in Madison Square Garden on 26 December. The show also had other big matches such as Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre (WWE World Heavyweight Championship Grudge Match), “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes vs. Shinsuke Nakamura (Bull Rope Match), Sami Zayn & Jey Uso vs. Finn Balor & Damian Priest (Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship).
As per Fightful Select, the live event in Madison Square Garden was completely sold out. CM Punk defeated Dominic in front of the sold-out crowd. Mysterio has had a fantastic year in WWE, winning the NXT North American Championship twice, wrestling the likes of Cody Rhodes, and having over 100 matches in 2023. During the match CM Punk even had a little stand-off with Rhea Ripley after she tried to interfere.
While fans wait for the Best in the World’s in-ring Telvivsed return, they can now enjoy the full match at the Live Event.
The live event was a huge success as it is being reported that the event was the highest-grossing domestic non-televised event of all-time for WWE.
