Seth Rollins calls himself "Real Best in the World” at WWE Event

Seth Rollins was pissed off by the return of CM Punk, ever since his entrance theme was played at Survivor Series 2023. Rollins yelled at him and tried to enter in a brawl and spoil his return, however he was stopped by WWE talents and commentators. Whenever Rollins got the mic in his hand he started roasting Punk and wished not to see him again.
Punk on the other hand built a good rapport with locker room talents and officials backstage and stated that Rollins is the only one who didn’t like his comeback. As they both indirectly teasing each other on live television, it continued even on the live events. Rollins previously spoke about Punk in the live event after Survivor Series and has now again spoke about him in another live event, claiming himself as the Best in the World.
“Real Best in the World” Seth Rollins?
Seth Rollins in a WWE Live Event on Sunday at State College in Pennsylvania successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura. After which he took the mic in his hands and cut a quick promo. Rollins said that he was not in the mood to talk about Punk and thanked the live crowd for supporting him and wished them happy holidays. He then asked them to show who the “real Best in the World” is.
“I really don’t feel like talking about that bum tonight. Instead, I’d like to take a second to express my gratitude to each and every one of you guys. From all of us in the back, everyone in WWE, we just want to say thank you, happy holidays, we’ll see you guys next time. We love you.”
“Now do me one favor. You’ve been singing my song so beautiful all night long. Let them know in State College who the real Best in the World is.”
They both are still mentioning each other indirectly and haven’t had a face-to-face confrontation since then. As Punk is about to sign the brand exclusive contract hours later on Raw, will we be able to see Rollins confronting Punk face to face if he signs to Raw? We need to wait and watch.
