2023 has been a monumental year for the wrestling industry, especially for the biggest promotion WWE. The company had witnessed a lot of changes in the management, ownership, lots of hiring & firing, some wrestlers peaked and some got dumped. However, which WWE Superstar is the most successful year? To answer this, here we look at the top 3 WWE superstars with the most wins in 2023.
3. Sami Zayn (60 wins)
It is one of the great years for Sami Zayn, where he left The Bloodline, became a top babyface, main evented WrestleMania 39, held the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship and is proving to be a World Champion caliber. Zayn had a total of 89 matches in 2023 in which he won 60, lost 27 and 2 matches ended in a draw. Zayn has a winning percentage of 67.4%, with this he has the third most wins in 2023.
2. Seth “Freakin” Rollins (79 wins)
Seth Rollins turned his losing streak into a winning streak this year, he became the inaugural World Champion and was involved in some of the heated storylines. He had a total of 100 matches in 2023 with 79 wins, 20 losses and 1 draw. Rollins has a winning percentage of 79%, with which he has the second most wins in 2023.
1. Cody Rhodes (103 wins)
There is no doubt that 2023 is one of the biggest years for The American Nightmare. Cody started the year with the Royal Rumble win, main evented WrestleMania, had a big feud with Brock Lesnar and The Judgment Day and now battling with Shinsuke Nakamura. Cody had a total of 108 matches in 2023 in which Cody won 103 matches, lost 5 and had no draws. He maintains a winning percentage of 95.4% in 2023.
