Bayley opens up on AJ Lee’s potential WWE return at Royal Rumble 2024

Ever since CM Punk made his surprise return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023, there have been a number of rumors and speculations, if they could be able AJ Lee back in the ring again. Punk also had mentioned AJ’s name on television a number of times. There is a huge expectation that she could possibly return at Royal Rumble, and is one of the tough contenders in the betting odds. Now a former Women’s Champion opens up on AJ’s potential return at the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble match.

Bayley on AJ Lee’s potential Royal Rumble return

The first ever Women’s Grand Slam Champion, Bayley recently appeared for an interview on Gabby AF, where Bayley spoke about surprise returns she loves to see and spoke about AJ Lee’s potential return and how she respects her.

Bayley said,

“Whoever wants to do a surprise entrance, just get ready to get thrown out by me. Mickie James is always awesome, I would love to see her again. Her music hits hard. Trish and Lita are always so fun to get those reactions; although they were just around not too long ago, still a good reaction. In an interview I just had, they brought up AJ Lee since CM Punk is here. I wouldn’t mind that. I might actually let her throw me over the top rope if she came back. That’s how much I respect her,”

AJ also teased about her in-ring return weeks ago, through her instagram post, where she posted a video of her training with punk and a picture of her wrestling high boots with the caption “Hello darkness, my old friend”.
