Is The Rock finally back in WWE full-time after RAW Day 1 appearance?
The Rock made his surprise return on Raw Day 1, does it mean he is back full time is the million-dollar question circulating on the internet. Here is what you need to know about The Rock’s return.
Triple H on X (Twitter) announced that a former WWE Champion will be making his return to WWE on Raw Day 1. WWE Universe were excited to know who the former WWE Champion will be and speculated their thoughts on social media handles.
On Raw Day 1, as the fans were eager about the former WWE Champion’s return, the one-time WWE Champion “The Modern Day Maharaja” Jinder Mahal made his return to television. The WWE Universe was extremely upset and addressed the WWE Universe and the people of the USA.
The Rock then made his surprise return to Raw by interrupting Jinder Mahal. The fans had loud chants that almost hit the sky. The People’s Champ verbally roasted Mahal and delivered a spine buster and The People’s Elbow on him.
After the most electrifying move, the Great One grabbed the microphone and said he was hungry and looking for something to eat. He then asked the people of San Diego, “Should the Rock sit in a booth? Should The Rock sit at the bat? Ort Should The Rock sit at the head of the table”, teasing a potential feud with his cousin, ‘The Head of the Table’ Roman Reigns.
Is The Rock’s return full-time?
As the Great One has returned to television, there is a question on his appearance whether he would be available full-time? As far as now, the answer to the question is no. His return on Day 1 is only a tease for his future appearances on television and to build the feud with Roman Reigns. The Rock on Instagram said that “We are just getting started” teasing of his next appearance, however The people’s champ doesn’t have a schedule for his next appearance yet.
In September 2023, The Rock also appeared on SmackDown with Pat McAfee confronting Austin Theory. Last time when Rock was a full timer was back in April 2023, while he was in a feud with John Cena. Since then he has appeared in a number of sporadic appearances.
However, as per backstage reports and rumors of his appearance and potential match at Elimination Chamber is circulating online, we could potentially be able to see him on television sooner again.
We need to wait and watch how The Rock’s return plays out with the current storyline and how well the feud will be initiated with Reigns.
