The January 22, 2024 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw will be aired live from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Los Angeles, United States. This is the last episode of Raw before the Royal Rumble. WWE has booked some of the interesting matches and segments for the show to hype the upcoming premium live event. Seth “Freakin” Rollins addresses his future
Last week on Raw, Seth Rollins successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Jinder Mahal. However he was struggling with his knee and it was reported that he suffered knee injury and was pulled from live shows.
Rollins will be kicking off Raw this week and will be addressing his future regarding his injury and championship reign.
Face to Face: CM Punk & Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes and CM Punk are the first two stars to announce their participation in this year’s rumble match. Both have been focusing on completing their respective story by winning the Royal Rumble match. As per speculations, both will set the heat for the rumble match and would be joined by fellow participants in the rumble match or would verbally bury each other.
Damian Priest vs Drew McIntyre
Damian Priest has been struggling to cash-in his Money in the Bank contract to become the World Heavyweight Champion. However, Drew McIntyre has been a threat to him, as he attacked him multiple times while he tried to cash-in.
This week Priest will settle things with McIntyre in a one-on-one match on Raw. As per speculations, Priest will win the match with the help of Judgment Day and would make McIntyre lose his mind and assault Priest post match to make a statement.
Ivy Nile vs Valhalla
The feud between The Viking Raiders and Alpha Academy has been continuing week after week. Last week Tazowa defeated Ivar, but Ivar and Valhalla were attacked by Tazowa and Maxxine Dupree. Ivy Nile, who has been associated with Dupree, said that she would take Valhalla out next week, which resulted in a singles match this week.
As per speculations, Ivy Nile will defeat Valhalla straight after which Valhalla would strike back to continue the feud.
Ivar vs Chad Gable
Last week, Tazowa defeated Ivar and was attacked after the match. This week, Chad Gable, the master himself, will step inside the ring with Ivar for a match.
As per speculations, Chad Gable will defeat Ivar after a hard fight. While Ivar tries to attack post match, Otis will step inside to save him.
