The Rock vs Roman Reigns to take place at Elimination Chamber 2024: WWE Rumors

Triple H on social media addressed the rumors of a former WWE Champion WWE return at Raw Day 1 was true and set the expectations for the arrival. At the show while everyone was expecting for a big return, Jinder Mahal came to the ring and stated that he is the one returning and mocked the USA and their unity. While Mahal rants at the people of the United States, “The People’s Champ” The Rock made his WWE return. The Rock buried Mahal with the mic and delivered him a spine burster and a people elbow
After which The Rock said that he is hungry and asks the WWE Universe of San Diego where he should eat? “Should the Rock sit at the booth, should the Rock sit at the bar, or should the Rock sit at the ‘Head of the Table’” teasing a match with Roman Reigns. Wade Barrett on the commentary screamed, “Paul Heyman call Roman Reigns”.
Reigns responded to The Rock’s return and his Head of the Table tease on X, with a laughing smiley. As everyone speculated we could finally be able to Rock vs Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40, rumors suggest that the match between the two could happen even before WrestleMania 40.
The Rock vs Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber 2024 in Australia?
BWE on X reported that if The Rock accepts WWE’s offer, he would then face Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber in Optus Stadium, Perth, Australia.
“If The Rock accepts WWE’s offer, then he will face Roman Reigns at the Chamber in Australia. If he accepts the deal. Then yes. Aussie Aussie.”
During the Christmas time it was reported that the tourism officials in Australia posted a number of questions about WWE’s deal and whether they would be bringing the stars to Elimination Chamber 2024 in Optus Stadium, Perth in February 2024. And was said that a number of questions were raised mainly aiming to the possible appearance of The Rock.
During mid-2023, when Elimination Chamber venue and date was revealed, The West Australian News reported that The Great One might wrestle at Perth.
West Australian Newspaper report,
“Adding to the speculation is the fact that WWE was recently sold to Endeavor. There is a strong suggestion the company, which also owns the UFC, wants its first Wrestlemania in charge to be an absolute showstopper. As a result there is talk The Rock might very well wrestle in Perth at the Elimination Chamber in February on his way to Wrestlemania to face Reigns two months later.”
Combining all the reports, there are high chances for The People’s Champ to show up at Elimination Chamber and possibly have a match with Roman Reigns. This could be a huge money deal as the Australians are rumoured to be paying huge money for the show. However, we cant confirm until official information gets released.
