2023 has been a monumental year for the world’s biggest wrestling promotion WWE. The company has witnessed a number of memorable moments this year with great storylines, top tier matches, hirings, firings, changes in management, merger and successful premium live events. The weekly shows (Raw, SmackDown, and NXT) were power packed with great matches and interesting segments.
There have been a number of memorable matches last year and the WWE talents worked their best to entertain their fans. As the New year begins, we look at some of the WWE stars who contributed a lot to the company in 2023 with the most number of matches.

Cody Rhodes had the most number of matches in 2023 with 113 matches. “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio had the second most matches in 2023 with 106 matches. The World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins stands third with 105 matches. The Senór Money in the Bank, Damian Priest stands fourth with 100 matches. Austin Theory and LA Knight share the fifth and sixth spot with both having 98 matches in 2023.
The Longest reigning Intercontinental Champion, “The Ring General” Gunther stands seventh with 96 matches. Gunther’s disciple Ludwig Kaiser also is in the list with one short (95) than his Ring General. The Master Strategist and former Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion, Sami Sayn after a long time had a full wrestling year in 2023 with 94 matches. Finn Balor had a total of 90 matches in 2023 and becomes the third Judgment Day member to be in the list.
