When will The Rock vs Roman Reigns take place? WWE Elimination Chamber or WrestleMania 40?

The Rock made his WWE return at Raw Day 1 and dropped a major tease of a potential match with Roman Reigns. He said that he is hungry and asked the WWE Universe of San Diego where he should eat? “Should the Rock sit at the booth, should the Rock sit at the bar, or should the Rock sit at the Head of the Table”. It is one of the most expected matches which has been rumored and speculated for a long time.

As the hype being set, BWE earlier this week reported that if Rock accepts WWE’s offer, he would then face Roman at Elimination Chamber in Optus Stadium, Perth, Australia. Now a recent report speculates the potential venue for the match.

The Rock vs Roman Reigns?

Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Rock vs Roman could possibly happen at Elimination Chamber as the Australian Government has been negotiating a huge money deal with WWE to bring The People’s Champ to Australia. It is also said that it could also happen in the next Saudi Arabia show, where the company makes big money shows already. With Rock’s appearance in Saudi Arabia the company could pull out a huge money event in the company’s history.   

“But nothing is official. Everyone is tight-lipped completely past Johnson would not have said what he did at the time he did without the plan being to build to such a match. While one would think WrestleMania would be the place, it also could be in Perth, Australia, given the story that the government there specifically requested Johnson on the 2/24 Elimination Chamber show, and it also could be at the next show in Saudi Arabia, which does not have a date. Roman’s Wiseman Paul Heyman on the latest episode of SmackDown addressed The Rock’s return and his desire to be the Head of the Table, which sets the heat. On the same time, Roman is announced to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against AJ Styles, Randy Orton and LA Knight at Royal Rumble 2024.
