Booker T wants Drew McIntyre to win World Championship at WWE WrestleMania 40

Drew is the winner of 2024 Elimination Chamber.

Drew McIntyre has been teasing of winning the World Heavyweight Championship for a long time in front of the live crowd, as his two world championship wins were during the pandemic time with no live audience. Drew had a pretty average run last year, however came back stronger with a heel character change.

Drew took shots on almost all the WWE stars, managed to win the Elimination Chamber to rightfully earn his shot for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40 against Seth Rollins. Drew seems to be quite confident now and giving more hope WWE Hall of Famer has predicted the Mania match in favor of Drew.

Booker T predicts winner of Drew McIntyre vs Seth Rollins match

Booker T on the recent edition of his Hall of Fame spoke about the World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania 40 between Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre. The veteran then said that he wants Drew McIntyre to be the World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 40 by dethroning Seth Rollins. The King believes that it’s time for Drew, stating that he worked hard to get back to the position like winning the chamber and it doesn’t make sense if he loses at Mania.

Booker T said,

“I hope they put the title on [Drew]. Nothing against Seth, but Seth has had an okay run. It’s nothing been like standing out as far as Seth’s run. Like I said, it hasn’t been a bad run or anything like that, but I do think it’s time for Drew McIntyre to get back in that position. I really don’t think we would have put Drew McIntyre in such a position where he had to work so hard to get back to it, to win a match like the Elimination Chamber, to go on [and] not win it. So that’s just my thing. I hope to see Drew win. I’m a fan of Drew McIntyre as well, let’s just say that.”
