WWE has crossed the final stop to WrestleMania, Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia. The show confirmed a number of matches for WrestleMania 40, including Seth Rollins vs Drew McIntyre, Rhea Ripley vs Becky Lynch and some potential directions for the grand show.
However some WWE Superstars are out of the big picture without any direction. Here we bring to you the top 10 WWE Superstars who don’t have a direction for WrestleMania 40.
10. Naomi
Naomi returned to WWE at Royal Rumble and made a huge impact. She got signed with SmackDown and also entered the Elimination Chamber match for a Women’s World Championship opportunity, but got eliminated first. There is no clue, where Naomi’s road to WrestleMania 40 direction is heading to, as she hasn’t built any storylines yet, since her return.
9. Raquel Rodriguez
Raquel Rodriguez returned to WWE television days before Elimination Chamber after months suffering from MCAS. She qualified for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match as one of the favourites to win the match. However she failed to win the match and also has not built any feuds and storylines yet, which makes her road to WrestleMania 40 a big question mark.
8. Nia Jax
Nia Jax has been dominating the Raw women’s division since her return. She challenged Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Champion at Elimination Chamber in Australia and failed to capture the championship. Ripley now has a new opponent to focus on, however Jax is left directionless on the road to WrestleMania 40.
7. Bobby Lashley
Bobby Lashley and their crew are currently in a feud with The Final Testament, however their storylines are not built to move to a pay-per-view. They are dragging their storylines on the television shows and it hasn’t been interesting.
It seems like their feud will end in the weekly shows and will not go to WrestleMania. This rivalry is burying Lashley’s capabilities and his big Mania spot. The current direction for the grand show is still a question mark, although being in a rivalry.
6. Liv Morgan
Liv Morgan since her return was teased about having a revenge tour against Rhea Ripley, who took her out of action for so long. Liv entered WWE’s two prime matches- Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber and came out short as the runner up. Liv’s revenge tour ended at Chamber and it seems like Liv is going directionless for Mania. Liv’s current run is on top of the game, and it will be hard to make her miss WrestleMania 40.
5. “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio
Dominik Mysterio is one of the young and top heels in WWE. He had a great 2023 year with his NXT North American Championship reign and is considered as the future of the company. However Dominik hasn’t been involved in any storylines yet and his road to WrestleMania hasn’t begun yet.
It was said that Lesnar was supposed to wrestle Dom at WrestleMania, but his absence took him out of action at Chamber. It is unknown where Dom’s creative direction is heading. If Dom doesn’t find a newer feud on the road, he could likely be taken out of the picture for WrestleMania.
4. Shinsuke Nakamura
Shinsuke Nakamura has been a big block for the top babyfaces and is on a mission to break their minds and their directions. In recent times, he has been a big hurdle in Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn’s career.
However he is stuck in that hurdle, which had put him directionless on the road to WrestleMania 40. Nakamura should build a proper feud to find his place in the WrestleMania 40 match card, or else he would be missing this year’s Mania too.
3. Solo Sikoa
Solo Sikoa is the only member of The Bloodline, who’s WrestleMania 40 is directionless. Roman Reigns got involved with Cody Rhodes, Jimmy is directed to Jey, but Solo isn’t booked for a feud yet.
Solo defeated John Cena at Crown Jewel ruthlessly and thought that the man is ready for the grandest stage, but his road to WrestleMania direction hasn’t begun yet. It is unknown if we could see Solo wrestle at WrestleMania 40 or not.
2. Bianca Belair
Bianca Belair is one of the top female stars in the SmackDown brand and is a former multi time Women’s Champion. Although ‘The EST’ is one of the top women wrestler in the company, she hasn’t been involved in any storylines yet. Belair has been looking to find a road to WrestleMania, and entered the Elimination Chamber to get her career back on track, but failed. Since there aren’t any storylines being built, Belair’s direction to WrestleMania is flat.
1. Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn is one of the top babyfaces in the company, who main evented last year’s WrestleMania and took the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship from The Usos. Zayn was motivated to win the World Championship, but failed to enter the Chamber match.
His current feud with Drew McIntyre & Shinsuke Nakamura could likely end in weeks, after that there is no idea where Sami’s story will head on the road to. The Underdog is however hoping to clear his buckets by WrestleMania, but Zayn ‘s road is so hard to get to the World Championship spotlight. Zayn’s road to WrestleMania 40 hasn’t begun and it is directionless for the last year main eventer.
