Major update on Seth Rollins’ WWE SmackDown appearance

Seth Rollins is one of the best professional wrestlers of the modern era, who has been a successful inaugural World Heavyweight Champion.

Although Rollins has a championship match to defend his title at Mania, he has volunteered to have the back of Cody Rhodes to stand against the Bloodline to finish his story. He gave his full support at WrestleMania 40 Kick-off and told Cody that he doesn’t need to battle the Bloodline alone.

Rollins‘ involvement has been making sense to the storyline telling the importance of taking out The Bloodline. It has been speculated backstage that Rollins would play a major role in Cody, Rock & Roman’s storyline, however they haven’t got face to face again after Mania kick-off. At this stage, a major update suggests that Rollins could potentially get to the Bloodline sooner.

WWE has been advertising Seth Rollins for the March 8, 2024 (next week) episode of Friday Night SmackDown. WWE’s poster for the March 8 episode of SmackDown in American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas includes, The Rock, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Randy Orton and Bayley.

PWInsider Elite on the other hand reported that The Visionary will also be appearing on this week’s (March 1, 2024) episode of SmackDown. It is expected that Rollins could be involved in the storyline between Cody Rhodes, The Rock and Roman Reigns. Although Rollins’ appearance this week has not been advertised so far, the backstage update gives hope on the occurrence.

It is important to note that Cody Rhodes and The Rock’s appearance for the next three weeks has been confirmed and there are high chances of a face-to-face or a potential breakthrough between them. All these suggest that Cody and Seth might show up on SmackDown to counter the new and powerful Bloodline.
