John Cena is one of the Greatest Pro-Wrestlers of All Time, he has been in the pro-wrestling industry for more than two decades. The Cenation leader after achieving great success went on to pursue a career in Hollywood and became a part-time wrestler slowly.
Cena however returned for a full-time role after a long time last year, while Hollywood was on strike and went on to resume his projects after the strike was called off. It is widely speculated that the GOAT will appear on the Grandest Stage of them all, but there isn’t any official announcement yet. However, here are five ways John Cena could be a part of WWE WrestleMania 40.
5. John Cena could announce something big
Cena could make a major announcement at WrestleMania 40. Remember, Cena was the one who came out discussing the plans of the potential venue of WrestleMania 41 during the Money in the Bank 2023. Cena announcing next year’s WrestleMania venue at this year’s Mania could be big.
4. John Cena in Grayson Waller Effect
If Cena can’t risk his body for his upcoming Hollywood projects, he can be involved in a segment, potentially in the Grayson Waller Effect. Cena talking in front of the massive crowd and getting interrupted by Waller’s friend, Austin Theory, who defeated Cena last year on the grandest stage could make sense.
3. John Cena helps Cody Rhodes
Last time when Cena appeared on WWE television, he got involved in the Bloodline storyline. Cena tried his best to take the powers from The Bloodline, however he failed. His story with The Bloodline didn’t got a clear end, however Cena helping Cody tackle The Bloodline and The Rock could be a long-term storytelling and would make a memorable moment.
2. John Cena & Randy Orton vs Austin Theory & Grayson Waller
John Cena and Randy Orton never shared the ring in a long time. When Cena was in WWE, Orton was in rehab, when Orton returned, Cena left. It would be great if both worked together as a team at WrestleMania 40 by facing Austin Theory & Grayson Waller. This could make millions recall their childhood memories.
1. John Cena vs Solo Sikoa in a rematch
John Cena had his last match against Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel 2023, before leaving for Hollywood. Cena was brutally assaulted by Solo with a series of Samoan Spikes to the neck. Cena coming out with revenge calling for a rematch would bring an end to Cena’s feud and also could help Solo Sikoa become a big star.
