Top four AEW stars CM Punk could help jump ship to WWE

CM Punk is one of the most influential and best-in-class professional wrestlers of all time. The Second City Saint in 2023 made a major move from jumping the ship from AEW to WWE after his dismissal. After that, CM Punk reinstated himself back as the hottest commodity in the industry.

Not only Punk, but the other wrestlers who moved from AEW to WWE achieved great success. With that being said, here we have listed four AEW stars, who CM Punk could help jump ship from AEW to WWE.

4. Wardlow

Wardlow is one of the powerful & mighty wrestlers, who has been in All Elite Wrestling since 2019. Wardlow was a bodyguard and the colossus of MJF. The duo broke up in 2022. The MJF vs Wardlow feud was a highlight and it brought Wardlow to the spotlight. He also managed to use the spotlight and became a three time AEW TNT Champion.

However the recent storylines for him are too poorly-booked, that is burying his potential. CM Punk has worked with him in the past during his AEW and has a good rapport with the 36 year-old. If Wardlow has the idea to jump ship, Punk could help him move to WWE.

3. FTR

FTR (fka Revival) is one of the best-in-class tag teams in the pro-wrestling industry involving Dash Wilder/Cash Wheeler & Scott Dawson/Dax Harwood. The popular duo left WWE in 2020, after their contract expired and due to the creative dispute with the company.

They had a great run in AEW and they went on to shine in AEW with the tag team title wins. However, they are one of the victims of the stop-start pushes & poor bookings. Since WWE is in the new Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque Era and Punk’s good deed with the company could help them bring back to WWE. 

2. Daniel Garcia

Daniel Garcia is one of the youngest and extremely talented stars in the AEW roster. He has been proving his in-ring potential, showcasing his technical skills. Garcia declines labeling himself as a ‘professional wrestler’ and instead embraces himself as ‘sports entertainer’, which is the term WWE use to describe their company.

Garcia could be a great fit to the company and his contract is nearing expiry in September 2024. Since Punk worked with him in AEW, he could help him move to WWE.

1. Ricky Starks

Ricky Starks is a hell of a talent, who is currently working with AEW. Starks is a one-time AEW World Tag Team Champion and a one-time FTW Champion. He’s got the in-ring skills and microphone skills to make a good promo and a great match.

The 34-year-old has a great relationship with CM Punk & Cody Rhodes, who even appeared on WWE PLEs backstage. If Starks wishes to move from AEW, Punk & Rhodes could help him make the move to WWE.
