Former WWE star AJ Lee confirms her next official appearance

AJ Lee is a former WWE Divas Champion

AJ Lee whose comeback has been much awaited by WWE fans as we approach the WrestleMania 41 season, is slated to make a major appearance later this year. The former Divas Champion has been officially announced as the headliner for the Big Event EXS in March of this year, where she will engage with attendees.

Since CM Punk’s WWE return in late 2023, fans have been waiting for his wife, AJ Lee, to follow suit and perhaps return to the Stamford-based business. However, despite several performers publicly demanding for her return, Lee’s obligations outside of WWE have kept her occupied.

Furthermore, the 37-year-old has been mentioned on television multiple times in recent months, fueling hopes for her return down the road. Amidst this, Lee has been confirmed for the Big Event EXS event in New York on March 15, 2025. She has been confirmed as the autograph event’s headlining guest.

Even though there is no official timeline for AJ to ever get in the ring, In an interview last year, Roxanne Perez expressed her lifetime desire to face the former Divas Champion in the squared circle if he ever returned to wrestling. The former NXT Women’s Champion went so far as to vow she would not put up her boots until she could wrestle Lee for WWE.

“It’s going, we’re trying you know. Hopefully, one day, she’ll come back and maybe we can all do something together. That would be, that would be like my dream. I can’t retire until I have a match against AJ Lee. So you know, I can’t be 80 years old wrestling either, so,” Roxanne Perez said.

Only time will tell whether AJ Lee changes her mind and rejoins her husband in WWE, where she will be warmly greeted by her army of fans. Away from wrestling, Lee has made significant progress in her successful writing career.
