Know the WWE rumors that have been going on for the past week

Speculating on WWE rumors is a popular activity for many fans, maybe second only to watching the events itself. In this daily feature, we look at the most recent rumors coming out of the rumor mill.

Many things happened this past week but, here are the most important WWE rumors you must have that went through some past days.

AJ Styles WWE contract soon to ‘expire’

Aside from several non-televised events in Japan throughout the summer, AJ Styles has been mainly missing from WWE TV since Clash at the Castle, raising questions about his whereabouts and future status with the organization.

According to Fightfulselect.com, Styles’ future in wrestling is “uncertain,” especially because his current deal with WWE is expected to expire either late this year or early in 2025, with the former timetable (later this year) being considered more accurate.

There is no word on whether the two parties have even begun negotiations, but for the time being, Styles appears to be in good health, away from television, and spending time with his family.

Alexa Bliss won’t return till next year

Despite the most recent WWE rumors of Bliss making her return, PWInsider says that there are no plans to put Alexa Bliss on television in the near future. According to the article, she is not anticipated to return until the Christmas season, which means she will most likely not return until 2025.

According to PWInsider, WWE and TKO are seeking to optimize what they’re generating, so there’s no rush to bring Alexa Bliss back on Raw or SmackDown.

Alexa Bliss hinted at a return ahead of Bash in Berlin, but she did not attend. However, the diva has kept herself busy since leaving WWE. In addition to caring for her kid, Alexa Bliss recently expressed thanks for the opportunity to take part in a new Netflix series.

CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre unlikely to main event WWE Bad Blood 2024

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, WWE’s internal intentions are to have Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu as the main event for WWE Bad Blood PLE.

The performance will be held in Cody’s hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, with a unique entrance planned for him. It is also stated that Roman’s link may have a part in the decision.

However, USA Network revealed last weekend that CM Punk and Drew McIntyre’s Hell in a Cell bout would headline the show, which caused uncertainty. Was Punk vs McIntyre main eventing WWE rumors to begin with?

Following the announcement by Wrestlenomics and Post Wrestling that crisis management PR company Sitrick and Company would no longer represent Vince McMahon, Wrestling Observer reported that McMahon had engaged Edendale Strategies, another agency with the same expertise.

TNA’s parent company submitted a trademark application for “Santino Marella” in 2022 after WWE’s expired, but WWE recently asked for an extension to register their objection to the claim. These were some of the WWE rumors that went on to happen for a couple of Days.

We will come up with more such rumors, so, do let us know in the comments what you want us to write about.
