AJ Styles labels WWE WrestleMania 35 match against Randy Orton as "one to forget"

AJ Styles is one of the best professional wrestlers in the industry, who have a great legacy beyond WWE. Styles has been in professional wrestling for more than two and a half decades and in WWE for over eight years.
The 46-year-old is a seven-time champion in the company including two WWE Championships, three United States Championships, one Intercontinental Championship and one Tag Team Championship reign. He is the 32nd Triple Crown Champion and 15th Grand Slam Champion of the company.
Styles is one of the consistent wrestlers to get featured in WrestleMania, however he missed it last year. This year, Styles will be making his return to WrestleMania in a non-title singles match. Styles with an all new heel character is all set to face LA Knight at WrestleMania 40 in a singles match. Ahead of their highly-anticipated match, Styles looks back at his WrestleMania 35 match with Randy Orton & claims that it is a match to forget.

AJ Styles on a recent appearance on Fanatics Live Stream on Xavier Woods’ UpUpDownDown YouTube Channel, where The Phenomenal One looks back at his WrestleMania 35 match against Randy Orton. Styles won the match after 16 minutes, however claimed that it was one of the matches to forget.
Styles says that there were lighting issues during their match, which blinded almost half the stadium. He said that they would have their match in the number one & second spot, but Lesnar match was swapped to the position. AJ Styles said that the lighting issues raised during their match pissed him, but says that Randy Orton was more pissed off than him.
AJ Styles said,
“That’s definitely one to forget because the lights were blinding people. We were supposed to go two or one, and then, of course, Brock [Brock Lesnar] gets to do anything he wants, so he switched it. By the time we went out there, the lights had come on and blinded half the stadium. I was pissed. You know who was even more pissed than me? Randy [Randy Orton]. I knew I didn’t have to get mad if Randy was mad.”
