AJ Styles to debut new entrance theme at WWE WrestleMania 40

AJ Styles is one of the best professional wrestlers in the industry, who have a great legacy beyond WWE. Styles has been in professional wrestling for more two and a half decades and in WWE for over eight years.
The 46-year-old is a seven-time champion in the company including two WWE Championships, three United States Championships, one Intercontinental Championship and one Tag Team Championship reign. He is the 32nd Triple Crown Champion and 15th Grand Slam Champion of the company.
Styles has been both a face and a heel in WWE, however his current heel character is somewhat unique and destructive. His current version is cool, where he is more masculine, powerful, and more of a lonewolf, who hangs out alone.
Styles seems to be more of a heel guy, and his current theme song seems somewhat in contrast to his gimmick. Styles has now hinted at a change in his theme music, which could debut at WrestleMania 40.
AJ Styles teases change theme song
AJ Styles during the Fanatics Live signing said that the people will be surprised at Wrestlemania, when it comes to music. He said his current music “They Don’t Want None” is awesome, but it doesn’t suit his current character.
AJ Styles said,
“You will be surprised come WrestleMania when it comes to music. Not to let the cat out of the bag. It’s big because my music is freaking awesome, but it doesn’t suit the AJ Styles people are seeing at this moment.”
Styles has been using his current theme song “They Don’t Want None” since he made his WWE debut at Royal Rumble 2016. Styles’ theme song has a separate fan base and it generates a huge pop from the crowd. However after the completely blacked out character change, Styles stopped doing his entrance gesture and doesn’t have his usual pyro, to make his character more of a heel.
AJ Styles is all set to face LA Knight at WrestleMania 40, in a highly anticipated non-title match, after a long rivalry since December 2023. Will the new character change and the theme change help The Phenomenal One secure a win against LA Knight at WrestleMania 40? Do you think the change in theme is a good move for his character?
