‘The Phenomenal’ AJ Styles and Finn Balor are two veterans of the game who have delivered on some of the most amazing matches inside the squared circle. Styles a longtime face of TNA Wrestling, joined the WWE in 2016.
Styles kicked off his career in the Stamford-based promotion in a storyline against John Cena. Styles has also had memorable runs alongside Omos and the iconic which consisted of Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and Mia Yim.
Styles is a two-time Undisputed WWE Champion and a three-time United States Champion. He has also held the Intercontinental Championship once and the World Tag Team Championship once, alongside Omos. Styles is also the 32nd WWE Triple Crown Champion and the 15th Grand Slam Champion in the company’s history.
On the other hand, Balor joined the promotion in 2014 and kicked off his journey in the developmental brand, NXT. Balor was promoted to the main roster in 2016 and was drafted to Monday Night Raw, where he quickly gained prominence, capturing the newly established WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam 2016.
Balor is currently a member of the Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Carlito & JD McDonagh). Bálor is a two-time Intercontinental Champion and a one-time United States Champion in WWE.
He has also held the NXT Championship twice. In tag team competition, Bálor has held the World Tag Team Championship three times, twice alongside Damian Priest and once alongside his current stablemate, JD McDonagh.

AJ Styles and Finn Balor first locked horns in a singles match at the 2017 edition of TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs , Balor emerged victorious in their first encounter. However, the Phenomenal One bounced back in their second meeting defeating Finn to equal the score at Survivor Series 2022.
In their third meeting Balor won, but Styles bounced baack in their most recent encounter which was during the May 12, 2025 episode of Monday Night Raw, equalling the head to head score with both socring two wins.
