The landscape of WWE did not change much in terms of title holders.

WWE’s trip to Saudi Arabia saw them deliver two back-to-back banger shows of SmackDown and the 11th edition of Night of Champions, both of which emanated from the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

As the dust settled on the explosive weekend, one new champion was crowned in the WWE landscape. However, the show featured multiple exciting matches, which kept the Riyadh crowd on their feet, erupting in excitement for near pinfalls and jaw-dropping moves.

The Night of Champions 2025 kicked off with Cody Rhodes‘ battle against Randy Orton in the finals of the King of the Ring tournament. The two stars kicked off the show in style, Rhodes ended up defeating Orton after a gruelling match to become the 2025 King of the Ring.

Furthermore, Rhea Ripley defeated Raquel Rodriguez in a street fight, despite outside interference from Roxanne Perez. While Sami Zayn overcame the odds, landing the helluva kick to defeat Karrion Kross in the third match of the show.

In the first title bout of the PLE, Jacob Fatu put the United States title on the line against Solo Sikoa. However, interferences from JC Mateo, a returning Tonga Loa, and a debuting Tala Tonga (fka Hikuleo) aided Sikoa as Fatu crumbled at the onslaught. Solo pinned Fatu to become the new United States Champion.

As for the Undisputed title, John Cena defeated CM Punk to retain despite interferences from Seth Rollins, who tried to cash in, sending in Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker to soften the two competitors. However, his cash-in attempt was thwarted in parts due to Penta and Sami Zayn, and then due to Cena and Punk.

Additionally, Giulia defeated Zelina Vega on the go-home show of SmackDown to become the new and third-ever Women’s United States Champion.
