Mariah May made her WWE debut on the 06/03 show!
The June 03 episode of WWE NXT emanated from WWE Performance Center in Orlando as usual and was used to hype up the upcoming WWE x AAA’s Worlds Collide 2025. The promotion had announced multiple matches and segments for the show, including a TNA World title clash.
In the first match of the show, Chase U (Andre Chase, Kale Dixon, & Uriah Connors) took on the Darkstate (Cutler James, Dion Lennox, & Osiris Griffin) in a six-man tag match. Darkstate picked up an easy win after landing the tossing triple powerbomb on Kale Dixon.
Myles Borne battled Charlie Dempsey in a Rounds Match, with the stipulation that if Borne won, he could leave the No Quarter Catch Crew. Borne emerged victorious, defeating Dempsey in the third fall (2-1) and earning the right to leave NQCC.
WWE LFG Season 1 winner Tyra Mae Steele defeated Arianna Grace in the third match of the show, while Jacy Jayne’s address as the NXT Women’s Champion led to a multi-woman brawl and the arrival of Mariah May, who appeared on the balcony with a spotlight and declared that the best women’s division in the world just got a lot more glamorous.
Furthermore, the team of Dragon Lee, Je’Von Evans, Laredo Kid, & Sean Legacy defeated “All Ego” Ethan Page & The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, Jackson Drake, & Ricky Smokes). In the main event of the show, TNA World Champion Trick Williams successfully defended the title against Mike Santana.
During the show, the promotion also announced multiple matches for next week’s show. NXT Champion Oba Femi is set to defend the title against WWE LFG winner Jasper Troy, while Sean Legacy will battle for the NXT North American title, which is currently held by Ethan Page.
However, Page is set to defend the title against Laredo Kid, Je’Von Evans, and Dragon Lee at Worlds Collide, and the winner of the match will defend it next week against Legacy. Niko Vance and Shawn Spears are set to battle in a tag team match but their opponent has not been announced yet. Additionally, Tony D’Angelo and Luca Crusifino will battle Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe in a tag team match.
