The 2025 edition of the PLE features John Cena’s final appearance!
In the aftermath of Money in the Bank 2025, the Stamford-based promotion is now planning to deliver the 2025 edition of Night of Champions. The 2025 edition of the show will be the 11th Night of Champions and is set for Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The show will feature stars from both the Raw and SmackDown rosters, and will host the finals of both the 24th King of the Ring tournament and the third Queen of the Ring tournament.
This will be the second Night of Champions held in Saudi Arabia, after the 2023 event. Additionally, it will also be the only WWE PLE and livestream event in Saudi Arabia for 2025. The 2025 edition marks John Cena’s final Night of Champions appearance, as well as his last event in the country as an active in-ring performer.
The promotion is building an amazing card for the show and has already kicked off the tournament to determine the finalists for the King and Queen of the Ring. On the 23 June episode of Monday Night Raw, GM Adam Pearce informs AJ Styles that Dominik Mysterio is injured and is unable to compete; therefore, the match is pulled from the PLE. Styles is still next in line for the title.
