All matches announced for WWE NXT (April 08, 2025): Six-man tag match, Jordynne Grace in action & more

As the NXT Stand & Deliver 2025 inches closer, storylines and feuds are taking shape, in the buildup, the promotion delivered the 04/01 episode of WWE NXT which emanated from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer vacated the NXT Women’s North American Championship in the opening moments of the show and a six-woman ladder match was set for Stand & Deliver to determine the new champion.

The announcement included a warning from the former champion, as Vaquer revealed that she would be selecting the challenger for her NXT Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver. Zaria and Kelani Jordan qualified in the first two matches for the Women’s North American title on the April 01 show.

The show also featured a tag team clash where, Hank and Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger) battled the No Quarter Catch Crew (Myles Borne & Tavion Heights). The No Quarter Catch Crew emerged victorious after landing the F-5/DDT combination on Ledger.

In the main event of the show, Sean Spears defended his NXT North American Championship against Ricky Saints. Despite the Champion’s best efforts Saints picked up the win via pinfall to become the new NXT North American Champion. However, Ethan Page appeared after the match and ambushed Saints, to flaunt the title over his fallen body as the show came to an end.

During the 04/01 show, the promotion announced multiple matches for the next week’s show which will also emanate from the Performance Centre in Orlando. Following this week’s show where the Dark State ambushed Je’Von Evans, NXT Champion Oba Femi and Trick Williams, a colossal six-man tag match has been announced for the 04/08 show.

A singles match between Jordynee Grace and Jaida Parker is also announced for the show, this came following their brawl in the opening segment of the show. Furthermore, Wes Lee and Yoshiki Inamura are also set to lock horns inside the squared ring.
