The fallout show from Backlash 2025 emanated from Louisville!
After delivering the 2025 edition of WWE Backlash from St. Louis on May 10, the Stamford-based promotion travelled to Kentucky to deliver the fallout show of Monday Night Raw, which emanated live from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky, U.S.A.
The show contained the developments from the 2025 edition of the PLE, the promotion also kicked off the build towards the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event on tonight’s show. CM Punk kicked off the show, addressing the fans for the first time since WrestleMania 41.
However, chaos broke out when Paul Heyman, Seth Rollins, and Bron Breakker appeared and a brawl broke out, Sami Zayn and Jey Uso came in to even the odds and clear the ring of Rollins and Breakker who retreated. Zayn and Punk are now set to team up to battle Rollins and Breakker at SNME next Saturday.
Penta defeated Chad Gable and helped AJ Styles thwart Carlito and JD McDonagh’s interference as he pinned Finn Balor. Meanwhile, WWE World Tag Team Champions New Day’s (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston) intervention helped American Made (Brutus & Julius Creed) defeat War Raiders (Erik & Ivar).
Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley also registered a win against NXT stars Roxanne Perez and Giulia in the main event of the show. Additionally, Gunther also engaged in a segment with Jey Uso, revealing that the winner of the World Heavyweight title clash between Jey and Logan Paul at SNME will be his next target, as he is in line for the title shot next.
Jey was attacked backstage by Bron Breakker, who was accompanied by Paul Heyman and was working on the instructions of Seth Rollins. During the live stream of the fallout show, the promotion announced multiple matches for the next week’s show.
The May 19 episode of WWE Raw will serve as the go-home show for the May 24 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event and will air live from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, U.S.A.
