The May 19 episode of Monday Night Raw emanated from Greenville!
The May 19 episode of Monday Night Raw aired live from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, U.S.A. The episode served as the go-home show for the May 24 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The show featured two qualifiers for the Money in the Bank ladder match, along with multiple singles and tag matches. Stars set to battle at the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event also met for the final time ahead of their clash.
The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh) defeated the team of AJ Styles and Penta as El Grande Americano interfered, landing a headbutt to Penta. While Roxanne Perez qualified in the first MITB Qualifier of the show, defeating Natalya and Becky Lynch, who was ambushed by Lyra Valkyria during the match.
Sheamus pinned Grayson Waller in a singles match, which once again put the rift between Waller and Austin Theory in the spotlight. Furthermore, Rhea Ripley defeated Kairi Sane while Zoey Stark suffered a horrific knee injury during the second women’s MITB Qualifiers on the show.
In the main event of the show, World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso battled Bron Breakker. However, the match ended in disqualification as Seth Rollins ambushed Jey, leading to Sami Zayn and CM Punk’s arrival to even the odds.
Sami Zayn, CM Punk, Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker clashed in a wild brawl ringside, while back in the ring, Logan Paul knocked out Jey Uso again to end the show. During the May 19 episode of WWE Raw, the promotion also announced multiple matches for next week’s show.
