The July 12 edition of SNME will emanate from Atlanta!

WWE will travel to Atlanta, Georgia, next month to deliver the July edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. This will be the third edition of SNME in 2025, the show last emanated in May from Tampa, Florida.

The July 12 edition of SNME will take place on July 12, 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Additionally, the promotion will also deliver the second edition of the all-women’s PLE, Evolution, from the same venue.

The show will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock in the United States and on YouTube in most international markets. The promotion is also set to deliver NXT’s The Great American Bash from the Center Stage Theatre in Atlanta, GA. It will emanate before SNME on July 12 at 3:00 p.m. ET.

The Great American Bash will go head-to-head against AEW’s biggest annual pay-per-view event, All In: Texas. Let us now take a look at the announced matches for the July edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event.

On the June 16 episode of Monday Night Raw, the newly crowned World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther, was celebrating his win when WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg crashed his celebration ceremony.

The Ring General defeated Jey Uso on the June 9 episode of Raw to kick off his second title reign and exact revenge for the humiliating loss to Jey at WrestleMania 41.

Goldberg stepped into the ring and came face to face with the Champion, stating that tonight he was there to celebrate Gunther‘s title victory. The Hall of Famer congratulated the Champion before reminding him of what he started in Atlanta, Georgia, with him and his family, and vowed to end it all in Atlanta.

“A few months ago, you started something with me and my family… And I am going to make sure that I end it in Atlanta, Georgia. July 12th, Saturday Night Main Event, YOU’RE MINE… BECAUSE YOU’RE NEXT!”

Goldberg will now battle in his retirement match against the Ring General in his adopted hometown of Atlanta, Georgia.

During the June 30 episode of Monday Night Raw, CM Punk retaliated, attacking Seth Rollins for ruining his chances in the Undisputed title clash against John Cena at Night of Champions. However, after a flurry, Rollins was able to escape into the crowd stands as he laughed at Punk, LA Knight came out from behind and attacked him.

The two stars brawled through the entrance into the food court, where Rollins managed to escape. The promotion shortly made a singles match between the two official for the upcoming SNME.

‘The Scottis Psycopath’ Drew McIntyre made his return on the July 04 episode of SmackDown after a short hiatus. McIntyre interrupted Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton’s segment to challenge Orton for SNME. The match was later made official for the show in a backstage segment by General Manager Nick Aldis.

Matches confirmed for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event July 2025

  • Gunther (c) vs Goldberg – World Heavyweight Championship match
  • LA Knight vs Seth Rollins
