The immensely successful show is returning for a second edition in 2025!
WWE, along with its Mexican sister promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), delivered the 2025 edition of Worlds Collide, which aired live on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. This came following the acquisition of the Lucha Libre Worldwide AAA by WWE during WrestleMania 41 weekend.
Following the massive success of the June edition of the show, WWE is now ready to deliver another edition this September. Worlds Collide: Las Vegas is set for September 12, 2025, at the Cox Pavilion at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
It will be the fifth Worlds Collide under the Stamford-based promotion’s banner. The event will feature stars from WWE’s RAW, SmackDown, and NXT divisions, along with stars from AAA. The show will air at 3 PM ET/ 12 PM PT on WWE’s YouTube channel in English and Spanish, similar to the previous edition.
The promotion has now started building towards the show following the 33rd edition of AAA Triplemania, which concluded on August 16, 2025, from the Arena CDMX in Mexico City.
In the main event of the aforementioned show, El Hijo Del Vikingo defeated Dragon Lee, Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano in a fatal four-way match to retain the AAA Mega Championship. However, WWE IC Champion Dominik Mysterio was very close to winning the title and becoming a double Champion, but an attack from AJ Styles spoiled his chances.
Mysterio is now determined to get the title, and the promotion has announced a rematch between the two for the upcoming show in Las Vegas. Vikingo will look to defend the AAA Mega title while Mysterio will look to become a double Champion.
During the September 5 episode of WWE SmackDown, the promotion announced the rest of the card for the show, revealing five more matches. The team of Pagano and Psycho Clown will battle The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) in their AAA World Tag Team titles on the line.
Faby Apache will lock horns against WWE Veteran Natalya in a #1 contender match for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship, while The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor & Roxanne Perez) will take on the team of Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana in a mixed tag team match.
Furthermore, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. will defend the AAA Latin American title in a fatal four-way match against Dragon Lee, Ethan Page and JD McDonagh.
Additionally, the team of La Parka, Mascarita Sagrada, Niño Hamburguesa, and Octagón Jr. will take on Latino World Order (Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde), Lince Dorado, and Mini Abismo Negro in a Lucha Showcase eight-man tag team match.
