The TNA World title was defended on this week’s WWE NXT!

The June 24 episode of WWE NXT emanated live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. The show continued the Eliminator matches for the NXT title, with the winner getting a shot at the Champion at WWE Evolution 2025.

Multiple top names were advertised for the show, including TNA World Champion Trick Williams, Balke Monroe, Jordynne Grace, Tony D’Angelo, and NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne, among others.

What Happened?

The show kicked off with TNA World Champion Trick Williams defending the title against  Josh Briggs. Williams successfully defended the title in the first match of the show but was laid out after the match by Joe Hendry, who ambushed the Champion.

Furthermore, Je’Von Evans defeated Tavion Heights in a singles clash, while Ricky Saints defeated Ashante “Thee” Adonis. The vacated NXT Heritage Cup was also contested on the show, where Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo defeated Tony D’Angelo in Round 4 to become the new Champion.

In the main event of the show, Izzi Dame, Jaida Parker, Jordynne Grace, and Lash Legend clashed in a fatal four-way match to decide the number one contender for the NXT title. Grace emerged victorious in the match and is now set to battle the Champion Jacy Jayne at WWE Evolution on July 13.
