Two title matches set for next week’s WWE NXT

Four matches were held on Tuesday to select the fatal four-way match for next week’s event, which will crown a new number one contender for Jacy Jayne’s NXT Women’s title.

Next week, Izzi Dame, Jaida Parker, Lash Legend, and Jordynne Grace will compete for the championship, with the victor facing Jayne at WWE Evolution on July 12.

A TNA Championship bout was also scheduled for next week. Yoshiki Inamura pinned Trick Williams in a six-man tag bout on Tuesday, possibly paving the way for a future championship fight.

However, Inamura informed Briggs backstage that he had a grander plan: he would pursue the NXT Championship while Briggs would be the one to get the TNA championship battle. It was then revealed that TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella has confirmed the bout for next week.

Noam Dar will be defending his Heritage Cup title against Stacks. After Luca Crusifino accidently hit Tony D’Angelo during a fight with Stacks, the two argued backstage in Ava’s office.

D’Angelo wanted Crusifino to fight Stacks to prove his commitment, but Ava informed him that Stacks was already scheduled for a Heritage Cup title battle, which his consigliere had put up. Crusifino denied being responsible for organizing the match.

Noam Dar was slated to defend the NXT Heritage Cup Championship against Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo on the CW Network this Tuesday. However, the plans have altered. On Saturday, NXT General Manager Ava made an unexpected statement.

“Due to injury, Noam Dar will not be able to compete this Tuesday and will have to relinquish the NXT Heritage Cup Championship,” said Ava on X. “This Tuesday, Stacks (will) compete in a match to crown a new Heritage Cup Champion against an opponent to be named.”
