All matches & segments announced for WWE SmackDown (March 21, 2025): Roman Reigns & CM Punk appear, Braun Strowman vs Jacob Fatu & more

03/14 SmackDown aired from Barcelona & kicked off the European tour!

The Stamford-based promotion arrived in Barcelona, Spain this week to deliver the 03/14 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The show also kicked off the Europe tour on the road to WrestleMania 41 PLE.

Multiple matches and segments were set for the show including the in-ring return of Charlotte Flair and Randy Orton. WWE Tag Team Champions DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tomasso Ciampa) were also set to defend their titles against Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins).

The first match of the show was an impromptu six man-tag clash between the team of LA Knight, Jimmy Uso, and Braun Strowman who defeated the team of Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga. After the match, the Solo and Tonga took care of Knight and Jimmy as Fatu decimated Strowman.

Charlotte Flair defeated B-Fab in her in-ring return while an interference from Drew McIntyre during the clash between Damian Priest and Shinsuke Nakamura ended the match in DQ. McIntyre then attacked Priest and promised to make his life a living hell.

Randy Orton also picked up the win in his in-ring return as he defeated Carmelo Hayes, who slapped him after the match, leading to another RKO, as Orton lined up for the punt kick, Hayes was saved by Kevin Owens who managed to flee the arena before Orton could get his hands on him properly.

In the main event of the show, Street Profits defeated DIY to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. Paul Heyman also made an appearance announcing the return of Roman Reigns on the next week’s episode.

During the 03/14 show, the Stamford-based promotion announced multiple matches and segments for the next week’s show. The 03/21 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will emanate live from the Unipol Arena in Bologna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy.

After causing an interference in Jade Cargill’s sit-down interview with Cathy Kelly, Liv Morgan is now set to battle Cargill in a singles match next week. Zelina Vega is also set to battle Piper Niven who halted Vega’s advances towards the Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green. Vega will now have to go through Niven to make her case for the Women’s US title.

Braun Strowman and Jacob Fatu are set to face off once again in a singles match after splitting victories in their back-to-back encounters on this month’s SmackDown. With Fatu decimating Strowman on the 03/14 episode, Strowman is hungry to return the favor next week.

“The Second City Saint” CM Punk via his IG handle announced that he will make an appearance on next week’s SmackDown to confront Roman Reigns after the attack during this week’s steel cage match between Punk and Seth Rollins which was the main event of 03/10 Raw.
