Backlash Contract Signing is set for Raw this week.
The upcoming May 4 edition of WWE Raw is set to emanate live from the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska. The May 4 edition will serve as the go-home show for the 2026 edition of Backlash, which is set for May 9 in Tampa, Florida.
Announced for the show is a contract signing between Roman Reigns & Jacob Fatu for the World Heavyweight title match at Backlash. This comes after last week’s segment, where Fatu locked in the Tongan Death Grip, and Roman, angered by the humiliation, accepted the challenge, setting the stage for their showdown.
On the other hand, after concluding her feud with Zaria on NXT, Sol Ruca, after making her Raw debut during the fallout show of WrestleMania, is now set to sign the contract.
Meanwhile, following last week’s show, in an exclusive social media post, WWE announced that Intercontinental Champion Penta and Je’Von Evans will team up to battle the team of Rusev and Ethan Page. Rusev even warned Page that they would have a problem if they lost.
Additionally, Oba Femi last week announced an Open challenge, putting the whole roster on notice. He is now set to commence the open challenge this Monday on Raw.
