All stars confirmed for WWE SummerSlam 2026 Night 1 ft. Oba Femi, Paige, Cody Rhodes & more

Two major tag matches are set for Night 1.
The two-night spectacle, SummerSlam, returns in 2026 with a stacked card to kick off the second half of 2026. The 39th edition will air this weekend across two nights on August 1 and August 2, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The show will mark WWE’s first-ever stadium event in Minneapolis and the city’s second SummerSlam, following the 1999 edition at Target Center.
Night 1 of the PLE will kick off the festivities in Minneapolis with two World title matches, a Hell in a Cell showdown, two tag team matches and a major in-ring debut of SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis.
CM Punk defends the Undisputed WWE title against Cody Rhodes, while Liv Morgan puts the Women’s World title on the line against the winner of the 2026 Queen of the Ring tournament, Iyo Sky.
The rivalry between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi also reaches its conclusion inside Hell in a Cell as both look to secure a win in the rubber match, and as noted, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis steps into the ring for his in-ring debut against Gunther.
The two tag team matches will see LA Knight team up with Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys to take on The Bloodline, which consists of Jacob Fatu and The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso).
The six-woman tag team match will see Paige and the Bella Twins (Brie & Nikki Bella) take on Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid).
The match was set up after Lainey and Henley defeated Brie and Paige to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Champions at SNME and continued the attack on SmackDown last week, until Nikki returned from injury to set up the SummerSlam showdown.

Fans can catch all the action from 6 PM ET/3 PM PT (or 3:30 AM IST on Sunday, August 2, and Monday, August 3, respectively) on Netflix internationally (excluding select markets) and on the ESPN App in the United States.
