The Road to WrestleMania looks crazy!
The path to WrestleMania 42 is beginning to take shape, and the stakes surrounding WWE Elimination Chamber could not be higher. This past Saturday, Roman Reigns and Liv Morgan emerged victorious in the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches, instantly reshaping the championship picture.
Those wins secured guaranteed world title matches at WrestleMania 42. Roman Reigns wasted no time, officially announcing on Raw that he will challenge WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk on the grandest stage of them all.
That decision has massive implications for the men’s Elimination Chamber match. With Reigns’ WrestleMania path locked in, the winner of the Chamber will now earn the right to challenge Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 42.
Randy Orton first to qualify for Men’s WWE Elimination Chamber 2026
The first men’s Elimination Chamber qualifying match took place on the February 6 edition of WWE SmackDown, featuring a high-stakes three-way bout. With a Chamber spot on the line, Randy Orton outlasted his competition, pinning Solo Sikoa to officially qualify.
For Orton, the victory marks another step toward championship relevance after months of rebuilding momentum. With his experience inside the Chamber structure, “The Viper” instantly becomes one of the most dangerous entrants in the field.
More qualifying matches are already on the horizon. Next week’s SmackDown will feature another men’s triple threat, as Cody Rhodes, Jacob Fatu, and Sami Zayn collide for a coveted spot inside the Chamber.
The qualifiers continue
The men’s field continued to take shape on WWE Raw, which is set to host multiple Elimination Chamber qualifiers. While Raw also featured women’s qualifying action, including a match involving Rhea Ripley, the men’s bouts further clarified who stands between McIntyre and WrestleMania.
LA Knight defeated Austin Theory and Penta on the February 9 episode of Raw to secure the second spot. Gunther, Je’Von Evans, and Dominik Mysterio are set to battle on the February 16 episode of Raw to secure the fourth spot.
Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes, Jacob Fatu, and Sami Zayn locked horns on the February 13 episode of SmackDown for the third spot, with Cody picking up the win, despite Drew McIntyre’s interference to help Sami win.
During the February 16 episode of the Red brand in Memphis, Tennessee, Je’Von Evans pinned Dominik Mysterio to secure the fourth spot after Gunther was taken out of the equation by Dragon Lee. On the other hand, Trick Williams qualified after Carmelo Hayes and Damian Priest on the February 20 edition of SmackDown.
The final spot in the Chamber match was secured by “Main Event” Jey Uso after he secured the win in the Qualifiers on the February 23 episode of Raw against “Original” El Grande Americano and Bronson Reed.
