A total of six big superstars returned to WWE last week!
Last week was a great week for WWE, where the company held some interesting shows featuring some great matches, segments and returns.
A lot of big stars made their return last week, in all the TV shows WWE hosted. Here we take a look at all the superstars who made their return last week.
Seth Rollins
On the September 30, 2024, episode of WWE Raw, Bronson Reed faced Braun Strowman in a last-man-standing match. In the final moments of the match, when both Reed and Strowman wrecked the ring, where Seth Rollins made his return to stomp Reed’s head to the steel steps. This made Strowman get on his feet and win the match.
Cora Jade
On the October 1, 2024, episode of WWE NXT, Roxanne Perez defended her NXT Women’s Championship against Giulia in a singles match. During the match, a woman with a black hoodie attacked Giulia outside the ring and delivered a DDT, when the referee got distracted. This made Roxanne deliver the second Pop-Rox to retain the title. After the match, the black hoodie woman was revealed to be Cora Jade.
AJ Styles
AJ Styles made his return on the October 04, 2024 episode of WWE SmackDown. Styles opened the show and was confronted by Carmelo Hayes. They got involved in an argument and the Phenomenal One challenged him for a singles match. Although Melo regretted it, Knight’s promise to offer a US title match made Melo agree to the match. During the match, Styles accidentally landed hard, while performing the springboard moonsault and was suffering with the bad leg. The bad leg made Styles forfeit the match, giving the win to Melo.
Raquel Rodriguez
At WWE Bad Blood 2024, Raquel Rodriguez made her return during the Women’s World Championship match between Liv Morgan & Rhea Ripley. During the match, Rhea Ripley attacked Dominik Mysterio with the kendo stick, where Raquel attacked Ripley from behind and performed a Tejana Bomb to end the match in a disqualification. Raquel aligned with Liv and Dom and walked backstage together.
Jimmy Uso
In the main event of the Bad Blood PLE, Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes faced Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu of the Bloodline. During the match, a person with a black hoodie and bandana appeared ringside, which distracted Solo Sikoa. The hooded guy super-kicked the Tongans and was revealed to be Jimmy Uso. The distraction from Solo helped Roman spear Sikoa and pick up the win. Jimmy also got involved in the post-match brawl to help Cody from the Bloodline.
The Rock
In the final moments of the Bad Blood 2024 PLE, Roman Reigns presented Cody Rhodes with his Undisputed WWE Championship. While Cody raised the title, The Rock’s music played and he made his return with the People’s Champ, standing on the apron. Rock had a look at Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns & Jimmy Uso and walked backstage without spelling a word.
