What will WWE RAW look like on Netflix?
Raw has been reclassified as a TV-14 show on Netflix, marking a departure from its PG status. This does not necessarily imply a full-fledged return to WWE’s classic programming, but more uncensored promos and tougher storylines are anticipated. That being said, The Attitude Era fans will be pleased with the news.
FOX and the USA Network on cable TV restricted The Rock’s promotional videos earlier this year. Triple H confirms that such things will not happen on Netflix.
Tickets for the first-ever Raw on Netflix will go on sale this Friday at 1 PM Eastern Time through Ticketmaster, and the episode is expected to have a premium live event vibe with many luminaries on board.
Netflix just had a blockbuster night with Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul, attracting 60 million people. However, globally fans noticed technical difficulties owing to frequent buffering and connectivity issues during the bout.
As a result, WWE fans are concerned about the same concerns while viewing Raw on Netflix. According to Fightful Select, the worldwide OTT platform has promised WWE that any flaws that exist will not continue until WWE programming arrives in January.
A WWE official went on to say, “If we were ever doing the type of traffic Mike Tyson and Jake Paul were doing, that would be a good problem to have.” So, it seems that WWE knows what they are doing.
