The June 26 SmackDown will conclude the build towards Night of Champions.
WWE is all ready to deliver Night of Champions 2026 this Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Before the PLE, WWE will conclude the build on the July 26 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, where stars set to clash at the PLE will meet for the final time.
The promotion has also announced multiple matches, including a singles match between Paige and Jacy Jayne. The match was made official last week after Jayne laid out a challenge to one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Speaking of Paige, the match will mark her first singles match since her return at WrestleMania 42. Her last singles match came during the December 4, 2017, edition of Monday Night Raw against Sasha Banks (Mercedes Mone).
After their fallout, Giulia and Kiana James are scheduled to settle the dispute inside the squared circle. The June 26 edition of the show will emanate as usual at 8 PM ET on the USA Network in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally, excluding select markets.
That said, WWE pre-taped the show on Tuesday at the O2 Arena in London, following Raw at the same venue a day earlier. The decision was likely made to give talent time to travel to Saudi Arabia and rest ahead of the PLE. If you want to know what happened on the show, you can check out the spoilers here:
