CM Punk and AJ Lee will both compete in title matches in Chicago.

The 16th edition of the Elimination Chamber event is set to air live from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The second and final PLE on the Road to WrestleMania 42 will decide the contenders for the Undisputed and WWE Women’s Championship.

The 2026 edition of Elimination Chamber marks a major return to the U.S., becoming the first edition held stateside since 2021 and the first with a live crowd in the country since 2020. It will also end a long hiatus for WWE at the United Center, which hasn’t hosted a PLE  in more than three decades.

In August 1994, SummerSlam etched its place in history by becoming the first sporting event ever held at the iconic venue. WWE has also built a stacked card for the historic show, featuring two of Chicago’s own megastars.

Before his WrestleMania showdown with Roman Reigns, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk is set to defend his title against Finn Bálor at Elimination Chamber. On the other hand, AJ Lee has baited Becky Lynch to put the Women’s Intercontinental title on the line in their clash this Saturday.

Both Punk and Lee are now set to compete in championship matches in front of their hometown crowd, with major implications for WrestleMania.

As usual, the event will feature the two men’s and women’s Chamber matches, with the winner securing the WrestleMania spot against the World Champion, remaining after the Royal Rumble announce their picks.

Randy Orton, LA Knight, Cody Rhodes, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, and Jey Uso have qualified for the men’s Chamber match. They will now battle to secure the WrestleMania spot against Undisputed Champion Drew McIntyre.

On the other hand, Tiffany Stratton, Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Kiana James, and Raquel Rodriguez will battle for a spot against the Women’s Champion Jade Cargill at the ‘Grandest Stage.’
