All superstars confirmed for WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event January 2026: Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Randy Orton & more

The Women’s Tag Team titles will be contested in Montreal.
The January 24 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event will take place live from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The first SNME of 2026 will set the stage for the Royal Rumble PLE, which is set for next Saturday.
It will be the first time since 2007 that Canada hosts a Saturday Night’s Main Event, with the last edition taking place at WrestleMania XXXIV in Toronto.
The show is also set to act as a curtain-raiser for WWE’s first major premium live event of 2025, which is slated to happen in Saudi Arabia the following week.
Multiple big names are set to collide in a fatal four-way match with title implications. Randy Orton, Trick Williams, Damian Priest, and Sami Zayn will now battle in the fatal four-way match to determine the #1 contender for the Undisputed WWE title.
The winner of the showdown will get the chance to challenge the current Undisputed WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre, at the Rumble event.
During the 01/12 episode of Raw, a #1 Contenders match for the Women’s Tag Team titles was announced, where the team of Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez, Bayley & Lyra Valkyria, and The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) battled for a shot at the title.
Morgan and Perez came out on top in the showdown, earning a shot at the current Tag Team Champions, RHIYO (Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky), in Montreal.
Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu are also set to battle in singles action, after their fallout from two weeks ago, where Fatu cost Rhodes the title match against Drew McIntyre. With reported plans of a WrestleMania showdown between the three, this likely will be the beginning of the storyline.
Ahead of his career-threatening match with Gunther, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis invited AJ Styles to the Blue brand. Styles made an appearance on the SNME go-home show, where Aldis tried to convince him against the match, but Styles stood firm.
Shinsuke Nakamura then appeared and asked Styles if he was willing to risk everything. Styles replied that if he didn’t step up to Gunther, he might as well have lost it all already. Nakamura then challenged him to prove he was still “Phenomenal” in a match at Saturday Night’s Main Event, and Styles accepted. Nick Aldis then made the match official between the two former rivals.
