John Cena is all set to make his appearance

‘The Cenation Leader’ John Cena created history on April 20 at WrestleMania 41 when he pinned Cody Rhodes to become the new Undisputed WWE Champion. The win saw him break the tie with Ric Flair and become the one and only 17-time World Champion.

The April 25 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown will serve as the fall out show after the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’ WrestleMania 41 and is set to emanate live from the Dickies Arena, Fort Worth, Texas, USA.

The show will start setting the tone for the Backlash PLE, which will emanate from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri on May 10, 2025.

The WWE Tag Team Championships will be on the line in a TLC match. Months of animosity between #DIY’s Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa, the Motor City Machine Guns’ Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, and the current WWE Tag Team Champions the Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) will boil over on April 25 as they face off in a TLC match.

Another mysterious film was shown during SmackDown last week, with smoke billowing and pictures flashing on the screen. It concluded by displaying the date for next Friday, 4.25.25. This might be interpreted as a hint for the return of Aleister Black, who departed AEW earlier this year.

John Cena & Cody Rhodes are scheduled to appear on WWE SmackDown this week. Since, losing the Undisputed WWE Champion, this will be his first WWE appearance where we can expect him to speak on his loss & maybe build-up for future storylines.

John Cena will also be making an appearance on the show. The new Undisputed WWE Champion last appeared on WWE RAW this week, where we saw Randy Orton hitting him with an RKO to end the segment.
