WWE returns to the U.S. for this wek’s SmackDown!

WWE will return to the United States this week before heading back to Europe ahead of the Night of Champions PLE later this month. The first show back on U.S. soil will be the June 12 edition of SmackDown, which is set to air live from the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island.

This Friday’s show will feature the final first-round matches in the 2026 King and Queen of the Ring tournament. WWE is also anticipated to announce matches for the upcoming Night of Champions 2026, which will feature the finals of the both the King & Queen of the Ring tournament.

In the fourth and final first-round matches of the King & Queen of the Ring tournament, Jey Uso, LA Knight, Royce Keys, and Finn Balor, while on the women’s side, Sol Ruca, Lyra Valkyria, Charlotte Flair, and Jade Cargill will battle to secure a spot in the semi-finals against Je’Von Evans and Liv Morgan respectively.

On the other hand, as announced by General Manager Nick Aldis, Gunther will reveal his condition for the Clash in Italy title rematch against Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes, who is not willing to wait any further than the June 19’s WWE SmackDown in Kansas City and will take the rematch offer off the table after next week.
