Jelly Roll will make his in-ring return against Kit Wilson.
Tonight’s edition of WWE SmackDown emanates live from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The show is shaping up to be a major turning point ahead of WrestleMania, with multiple feuds set to unfold in Pittsburgh.
Cody Rhodes is being advertised for the show, leaving many fans to speculate about his return after suffering a brutal assault by Randy Orton during the WrestleMania contract signing two weeks ago.
‘The Viper’ Randy Orton is also advertised for the show, after launching another vicious attack last week, this time Matt Cardona was caught in the crosshairs.
On the other hand, Women’s U.S. Champion Giulia is set to battle Tiffany Stratton in a non-title match. The match was originally announced as a title clash, but WWE later changed it.
After Kit Wilson blindsided Jelly Roll with a cowardly attack this past Friday, the match is now set. Jelly Roll will make his in-ring return for the first time since SummerSlam 2025 to take on Wilson.
Elsewhere on the card, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss will square off against The Bella Twins (Nikki & Brie Bella) this week.
Meanwhile, General Manager Nick Aldis is set to provide an update on Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu following their wild brawl on last week’s show, which saw the two fight throughout the night before crashing off a high steel structure in the closing moments.
