The SmackDown episode this week is already pre-taped

The November 29 episode of Friday Night SmackDown will serve as the final stop before WWE’s Survivor Series Premium Live Event (PLE) on Saturday. The show was pre-taped after last week’s episode in Salt Lake City, Utah, giving WWE Superstars time to celebrate Thanksgiving with their families before the big event.

Here’s what fans can look forward to, Last week, WWE announced that Piper Niven, Michin, and a mystery opponent would face off in the third match of the Women’s U.S. Title Tournament. The mystery opponent has now been revealed as Lash Legend. With Bayley and Chelsea Green already advancing to the semi-finals, Niven, Michin, and Legend will battle it out for the chance to join them.

Shinsuke Nakamura recently made his presence felt by targeting U.S. Champion LA Knight. After attempting to interfere in Knight’s title defense against Santos Escobar, Nakamura will step back into the ring this week to take on Andrade. This marks Nakamura’s first match since his return, as he prepares to challenge Knight for the U.S. Championship at Survivor Series.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes had a heated confrontation with Kevin Owens last week, leading to an explosive backstage scuffle with Carmelo Hayes. Rhodes, clearly still fuming over Hayes’ disrespect toward his mentor Randy Orton, even shoved Hayes during the altercation.

Team Ripley gained the upper hand heading into Survivor Series, as Bianca Belair defeated Nia Jax on Monday Night Raw to secure the WarGames advantage. With Bayley stepping in to replace the injured Jade Cargill, Team Ripley—featuring Belair, Iyo Sky, Naomi, and Rhea Ripley—will face Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Candice LeRae on Friday Night SmackDown.

Solo Sikoa announced that Jey Uso will face Jacob Fatu on SmackDown to decide which side will walk into WarGames with the advantage. The OG Bloodline, now joined by CM Punk thanks to Paul Heyman’s surprise return, is set to clash with Solo Sikoa’s faction in a five-on-five showdown at the PLE.
