Roman Reigns has one of the longest reigning championship reigns in the history of WWE with his Universal Championship reign, which he won in Payback 2020. At WrestleMania 38, Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship for the fourth time and merged it to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

In May 2023, he surpassed the 1000-day reign with the Universal title. WWE Chief Content Officer, Triple H presented him a brand new single Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to honor the mighty landmark.

Reigns after three and a half years of championship reign lost his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 XL to end his mighty reign.
