List of all superstars who left WWE in 2024
Several big stars have left the company this year
Since its foundation in 1953, WWE has reached immense heights and has crossed multiple hurdles. The promotion stood strong in the face of adversity and became the leader of professional wrestling.
Following the departure of the CEO and co-founder Vince McMahon, many pundits were skeptical about whether the company would survive. However, the company not only survived but is breaking records and selling out stadiums.
The Stamford-based promotion was acquired by Endeavor in 2023. Endeavor created TKO group holdings in 2023 as part of a merger between World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (WWE) and Zuffa, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) parent company.
Despite all its glory releases and departures are a norm as many talents jump ship to rival promotions for better opportunity. On the other hand, the promotion sometimes releases talents from their contacts for multiple reasons including their performance.
