The 42nd edition of WrestleMania will take place on April 18 & 19.

The Road to WrestleMania 42, which began at the Royal Rumble, is set to reach its destination in Las Vegas this weekend. The 42nd edition of the ‘Grandest Stage’ is set to emanate as a two-night spectacle on April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

There are multiple usual names on the card who have become a staple of WWE programming, while rising stars are also gearing up to make their debut at the ‘Grandest Stage.’ On the other hand, there are a few stars who are set to make their Mania return this weekend, and in this article, we will take a look at such stars.

3. Nikki Bella

One-half of the Bella Twins, Nikki Bella, made her surprising return at the 2025 Royal Rumble. However, last year she wasn’t on the Mania card and instead made appearances at Evolution, Clash in Paris, and Survivor Series.

However, this time around, Nikki will participate in the multi-woman match for the Women’s Tag Team titles. The match features names like Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Bayley, and many more.

Anyhow, this will be Nikki’s first WrestleMania appearance since the 33rd edition in 2017, where she teamed up with John Cena to battle Maryse and The Miz in a mixed-tag team match.

2. Brie Bella

The other half of the Bella Twins, Brie Bella, made her return at the 2026 edition of the Royal Rumble and then reunited with Nikki to bring back the iconic tag team. Brie, too, is scheduled for the Women’s Tag match, alongside Nikki, as the Bella Twins are looking to reclaim the title.

This will be Brie’s first appearance at the ‘Grandest Stage‘ since the 32nd edition in 2016, where she participated in a 10-woman tag team match during the kick-off show.

1. AJ Lee

AJ Lee returned to WWE after over a decade of absence in September 2025, kicking off a feud with Becky Lynch. Lee recently defeated Lynch to capture the Women’s Intercontinental title at Elimination Chamber 2026.

Now, Lee will take on Lynch in a title rematch at Night 1 of the PLE. This will be Lee’s first appearance since the 31st edition in 2015, where, coincidentally, she teamed up with Paige to take on the Bella Twins in a tag team match.

When and where will WrestleMania 42 take place?

The 42nd edition of the PLE will be a two-night event on April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Who will headline the two nights of WrestleMania?

Night 1 will be headlined by Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton, while Night 2 will close with CM Punk putting the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Roman Reigns.
