Injuries are an unavoidable part of professional wrestling, often reshaping storylines and forcing WWE to adapt multiple ongoing feuds on the fly. With WWE currently experiencing a shift in its overall injury landscape, as multiple big names are out of action due to multiple reasons, injuries are the most prevalent one.
Injuries hinder a superstar’s ability to perform and even sometimes force them into retirement. The jaw-dropping moves sometimes cause severe harm to the superstars, and some injuries are also sustained outside the ring.

Bianca Belair has been out of in-ring action since WrestleMania 41, despite making a few appearances in mid-2025, while Chad Gable has been preparing for his in-ring return at the WWE Performance Center.
On the other hand, Dominik Mysterio recently suffered a shoulder injury during AAA Guerra de Titanes, with reports suggesting that the setback is relatively short-term, with the AAA Mega and WWE Intercontinental Champion anticipated to miss just three to four weeks, enough time to return in time for the upcoming Royal Rumble.
Dirty Dom’s Judgment Day stablemate, JD McDonagh, disclosed in a social media post on December 15, 2025, that he underwent hand surgery. However, the extent of the injury and how it occurred have not been made public.
Furthermore, LA Knight is out of action as he was written off TV and is poised to make his return soon, while Naomi is out of action as she is on maternity leave, and Seth Rollins‘ shoulder injury, which he sustained at Crown Jewel, is keeping him out of the squared circle.
Sheamus was forced to withdraw from The Last Time Is Now Tournament after suffering a shoulder injury, which ultimately required surgery in December 2025. Meanwhile, Zoey was seriously injured during the May 29, 2025, episode of Raw, tearing her ACL, MCL, and meniscus. There is no official timetable set for her return.
Additionally, Kevin Owens has undergone neck surgery on July 18th, which was successful, but there is no estimated return date. Piper Niven is also out of action due to a neck injury, which many believe could mean the end of her in-ring career. However, there is still no confirmation regarding this.
Michin sustained a shoulder injury in late December 2025 during WWE’s Holiday Tour in a match against Jade Cargill. NXT’s Adriana Rizzo is currently out of action after suffering a torn ACL and meniscus, an injury that is expected to sideline her until at least Spring 2026. On the other hand, Noam was forced to relinquish the NXT Heritage Cup due to an undisclosed injury, and there is currently no timetable for his return.
