Bayley defeats IYO SKY, wins WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40

At WrestleMania 40, Bayley fueled by a thirst for championship glory, squared off against her former ally, IYO SKY, in a battle for the WWE Women’s Championship. With tensions running high and alliances shattered the WWE Universe braced for this epic showdown between two fierce competitors.
Bayley’s path to WrestleMania took an unexpected turn following a confrontation with Nia Jax on Raw, where she vowed to reveal her chosen Women’s Champion challenger on SmackDown. In a shocking twist, Bayley revealed her fluency in Japanese, exposing the mockery and betrayal from her supposed allies within Damage CTRL. With the faction stunned into silence, Bayley redirected her focus to SKY, officially declaring her intention to challenge for the title on the grandest stage of them all.
Meanwhile, SKY has proven herself to be a formidable champion, ascending to new heights and solidifying her reign as one of the most dominant titleholders in recent memory. As the first-ever Triple Crown champion, Bayley poses one of the most dangerous challenges SKY has faced to date, setting the stage for an electrifying encounter at WrestleMania.
As the WWE Universe eagerly anticipates the clash between Bayley and SKY, the question remains: Can Bayley reclaim championship gold, or will SKY repel her former ally’s quest for glory?
Bayley is the new WWE Women’s Champion
Bayley took onto the stage to challenge friend turned foe IYO Sky. IYO Sky made her entrance alongside Dakota Kai and the Fubuki Warriors to look for her back but nor Kai nor the Fubuki Warriors made it to the ring with IYO Sky.
Both woman straight away starts brawling with one move after another. But Bayley started to gain momentum early on in the match but it didn’t look enough to stop the Genius of the Sky. As Sky starts hurting Bayley’s injured leg which kept Bayley out of WWE.
Somehow Bayley tries to fight through but IYO Sky knew well what she was doing. Sky keeps on beating up Bayley and vice versa. Both women fought like equals but in the end, the match was going to the person who fought better. As Iyo kept on trying to beat Bayley, Bayley was somehow able to hit Belly to Belly but IYO took the force and then both the women started a slug fest beating each other up.
As the genius of the sky went up on the turnbuckle everybody though Bayley lost the match but she somehow put on the strength to make a comeback. With her injured legs, Bayley climbs the ring to hit with a big elbow followed with a Rose Plant to become the new WWE Women’s Champion.
