A cryptic social media post featuring AJ Lee and Mercedes Moné has fans wondering whether Bayley could eventually make the jump to AEW
Bayley’s WWE future has become increasingly uncertain, with her current contract reportedly set to expire before the end of 2026. While WWE remains interested in retaining the former Women’s Champion, no contract extension has reportedly been signed yet.
The situation has also attracted attention from AEW. According to Fightful Select, the promotion has internally discussed the possibility of signing Bayley for nearly a year and is believed to have strong interest in making her an offer if she becomes a free agent. Now, the Role Model herself has added another layer to the speculation.
Bayley sparks AEW speculation with cryptic post

Bayley recently appeared in a training video alongside AJ Lee and Mercedes Moné, with the former WWE Women’s Champion captioning the post, “all or nothing, baby.”
Adding to the intrigue, the song accompanying the video was “All In.” Fans immediately connected the caption and song to AEW’s marquee events, All In and Double or Nothing.
However, there is currently no confirmation that the Role Model deliberately intended the references as a tease toward AEW.
The latest speculation comes just weeks after Bayley’s loss to Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18 at Madison Square Garden. Valkyria attacked her after the match, adding further uncertainty around the veteran’s WWE direction.
Mercedes Moné factor adds another twist
Mercedes Moné could also play a major role in the speculation surrounding Bayley’s future. Back in June, the AEW star shared a fan-created poster teasing a potential match against the Role Model at WrestleDream 2026. The poster notably used the latter’s former ring name, “Davina Rose.”
The Role Model previously revealed in April 2025 that she had approximately a year and a half remaining on her WWE contract, putting its expected expiration around the fourth quarter of 2026.
For now, there is no agreement between the Role Model and AEW, and she remains under contract with WWE. But with AEW reportedly interested and the Role Model continuing to fuel speculation, her next move could become one of the biggest free-agency stories in wrestling.
Is Bayley leaving WWE for AEW?
There is currently no confirmation that the Role Model is leaving WWE or has signed with AEW.
When does Bayley’s WWE contract expire?
Her contract is reportedly expected to expire in late 2026, around the fourth quarter.
