Bayley and Iyo Sky went from stablemates to sworn enemies!
The famous saying that there are no friends in the pro wrestling business rings particularly true for WWE Women’s division superstars Bayley and Iyo Sky. The two stars who started as stablemates turned bitter rivals last year.
Bayley formed an alliance in July 2022 with Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane known as Damage CTRL, while the alliance initially succeeded in many ways, the crack slowly began to appear at Money in the Bank 2023 PLE where the two stars collided.
However, the two stars resolved their issues and Bayley helped Sky cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase to win the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam 2023 PLE. The fallout started when Bayley won the Royal Rumble 2024 PLE and later confronted her stablemates for talking behind her back.
Asuka had also joined the Damage CTRL as Asuka and Sane attacked Bayley and kicked her out of the group. This feud then culminated in Bayley announcing that she would battle Sky for the WWE Women’s title at WrestleMania 40.
Since making her WWE debut, Iyo Sky has made a name for herself and has won the NXT Women’s Championship as well as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Dakota Kai. Sky continued her momentum when she debuted on the main roster and captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship twice alongside her Damage CTRL member Dakota Kai.
Sky also managed to capture the WWE Women’s title which she defended six times after ultimately dropping the title against Bayley which ended her title reign at 246 days.
On the other hand, Bayley is one of the most accomplished stars in the history of WWE’s Women’s division. Bayley has held the NXT Women’s title once, the WWE Women’s title, and the Women’s World title twice. She is also a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion along with Shasha Banks (Mercedes Mone).
Bayley is considered as one of the most prominent ‘Role Model’ for the upcoming generation of pro wrestlers. She is also the first-ever WWE Women’s Grand Slam champion.

While the two stars have fought alongside multiple times, following their fallout they collided three times which also includes house shows. When it comes to televised matches the two stars have fought once that too at the grandest stage.
As mentioned earlier, Bayley announced that she would challenge Sky after their fallout. The two stars met at WrestleMania 40 (Sunday) where Sky’s WWE Women’s title was on the line, Bayley triumphed in their clash as she defeated Sky to become the Women’s Champion.
The promotion has teased another clash between the two on the 01/27 episode of Monday Night Raw where the two face off against each other and Sky stated, “See you Saturday,” hinting at their meeting at the Royal Rumble PLE.
