Becky Lynch joined forces with Seth Rollins at Clash in Paris!

In the final moment of WWE Clash in Paris 2025, a shocking twist occurred when Women’s IC Champion Becky Lynch low-blowed CM Punk, helping her husband, Seth Rollins, retain the World Heavyweight Championship in a fatal four-way match.

Lynch doubled down on the fallout show of Raw, interrupting Punk, who called out Seth Rollins. Lynch not only humiliated Punk on the mic with Rollins teasing him even further before escaping, but Lynch also slapped Punk.

An irate Punk warned her on live TV: “You’re gonna regret putting your hands on me.” With tempers flaring, the WWE Universe is now buzzing with speculations of AJ Lee’s return, with many reports confirming a mixed tag team match between the two real-life couples at the upcoming Wrestlepalooza.

Lynch has already expressed her hatred for Punk and revealed the reasons behind it on live TV this Monday. However, she also has issues with AJ Lee, which date back to their first meeting when Lynch was a newcomer in the company.

In her book, ‘The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl’, the Women’s IC Champion detailed the humiliating meeting with the then WWE Divas Champion, AJ Lee.

“When I opened my eyes, I noticed that the Women’s Champion, or as they so awfully named it, the Divas Champion, AJ Lee, was standing to the left of me, typing furiously into her phone.

Without picking up on social cues, I enthusiastically greeted her, ‘hello’, four octaves higher than normal, with the underlying desperation of please like me.”

“‘I’m Rebecca’, she looked up as I stretched out my hand to shake hers, grunted what may have been a ‘hi’ before going back to finger punching her phone, leaving me with my arm out stretched, fondling the air. ‘This is going horribly’, I thought as I sat on the bathroom stall.” Lynch added.

The real-life heat between the two from this interaction could be utilized by WWE in their feud if the reports are true and Lee is making her return.

WWE can use multiple real-life incidents to further build the feud

Back in March of this year, a controversy sparked online after Lynch tweeted something that didn’t sit well with fans. This came following CM Punk mentioning Becky in a promo on the March 3 Raw.

“Becky Lynch, you better come get your man because if I get to him before you do, I’m going to put him in a wheelchair.”  Punk said.

Lynch mocked Punk and Roxanne Perez, who looked up to AJ, for wearing matching attire at Elimination Chamber, writing: “Catching up on RAW… I don’t think I’m the one who needs to come get MY Man.”

After facing backlash, Lynch deleted the tweet, especially since AJ wasn’t active in WWE at the time. However, this could also be brought up again if a rivalry between the trio develops to make it further engaging and add more intriguing layers.

Is AJ Lee returning to WWE?

As of now, WWE has teased but not confirmed her return, while multiple reports have stated that she will be returning to WWE and join CM Punk to battle Rollins and Lynch.

What did Becky Lynch say about her first meeting with AJ Lee?

Detailing the humiliating first encounter in her book, Lynch recalled how she awkwardly greeted AJ with an overly enthusiastic “Hello!” in an attempt to make a good impression, while Lee barely acknowledged her, offering a grunt before returning to her phone, leaving Lynch with her hand still outstretched in a moment of awkwardness.
